How To Customize Your Coder View
There are numerous features available to make the coding screen easier to use for the individual coder.
- Adjust the Codeframe/Response panels
- Toggle the Codeframe/Response panels
- Code Color Display
- Toggle alternate response rows color
How to expand/contract the Codeframe and Response view panels

Postion the mouse between the two panel views until it changes from the select cursor to the resize cursor.

Click and hold the mouse button.
- Slide the mouse to the left or right to expand/contract the two panel views to the desired size.
How to switch the sides that the codeframe and response view panels are displayed

Click on the Preferences button in the Coder Footer Menu.

Under the Codeframe section, find the option Codeframe on the Right.

Selecting "No" will display the Codeframe panel on the left, and the Response panel on the right.

Selecting "Yes" will display the Codeframe panel on the right, and the Response panel on the left.
How to customize how assigned code colors are displayed

Click on the Preferences button in the Coder Footer Menu.

Under the Codeframe section, find the option Code And Net Colors.

Selecting "Text" will display the text of the codes in the color assigned in the Code Editor.

Selecting "Box" will display the Code Editor assigned color in a line to the left of the code.
How to highlight alternating response rows
-
Click on the Preferences button in the Coder Footer Menu.

Under the Study section, find the option Code And Net Colors.

Selecting "Yes" will highlight alternate rows in the Response panel.

Selecting "No" removes the alternate row highlight.
