Data Importer - Setup Codeframes Step

Once the questions have been selected, you need to assign the questions you are going to code into codeframes. You can organize codeframes however you want, but in most cases one codeframe per question will be optimal.

Assign codeframes

Questions Available Panel

List of questions that are going to be imported. Questions already assigned a codeframe are grayed out. Questions can be dragged and dropped onto the Create New Codeframe box or an existing codeframe to assign them to a codeframe.

Manage the list of codeframes and questions assigned to each.

How to Use

Assigning a Question to Codeframe

Drag a question from the Question section on the left onto an existing codeframe or the "Create New Codeframe" box.

Removing a Question from a Codeframe

Click the "-" for the question in the Manage Codeframes section to unassign that question.

Note: Questions in codeframes that are already coded cannot be removed.

Removing a Codeframe

Click on the "-" on an empty codeframe in the Manage Codeframes section and the codeframe will be removed.

Assigning All Questions

If you haven't assigned all the questions before you click Next, you will be prompted to assign all the questions to a codeframe automatically or go back and assign them manually.
